PostaHouse: The Invitation
Posta: a small town the middle of the Apennine Mountains, approximately 2 hours North-East of Rome. A place with history at the junction of several roads, where one could change horses and get a well-earned rest for the night. This is a place of tradition, with knowledge of the old ways as well as the new.
PostaHouse was once home to Serena Anderlini-D’Onofrio‘s father, a well-respected parliamentarian; now Serena is using this magnificent 18th-century house and its garden as the basis for her vision – to build an ecologically sustainable community based on the precept:
“A world where it is safe to love is a world where it is safe to live!”
PostaHouse is a place for retreats, for workshops, for meetings, for music and art, for those deep spiritual ceremonies which connect us with everything in Heaven and on earth and each other.
It is also a place of forming community. The house is being made ready and the land is being cultivated with good plants ready for the summer of 2012 and its activities.
